1. Tie-Dye Experience at Dyeing Workshop

A signature activity in Wuzhen where you can personally experience the full process of "tying, dyeing, and washing". Select a piece of white cotton cloth, use rubber bands to tie it into patterns (you can design your own patterns), then soak it in an indigo dye vat. After 15-20 minutes, take it out to rinse, and finally get a unique indigo-printed fabric product that you can take away as a souvenir. The experience fee is CNY 30-50 per piece.
2. Visit to Wooden Pavilion
Location: Northern Part of the Scenic Area - Recommendation Rating ★★★★
The pavilion combines water town elements with modern style in its architecture. It houses a collection of various wood carvings. The ticket price is CNY 20 per person, and it is closed on Mondays. It is recommended to pair your visit with a guided tour (CNY 50 per group) for a better experience.
3. Sending Postcards at Wuzhen Post Office
Location: Scenic Area Entrance - Recommendation Rating ★★★★
This century-old post office allows you to buy postcards printed with Wuzhen scenery (CNY 5 per card). After writing your blessings, you can stamp them with the special "Wuzhen" postmark and mail them nationwide on the spot. You can also choose to send them on a specified future date, leaving a special memory of your trip.

1. Night Tour by Wuzhen Boat
Boarding Point: Boat Dock at Scenic Area Entrance - Recommendation Rating ★★★★★
A must-try activity in Wuzhen. Take a Wupeng boat (traditional wooden boat) along the river at night; the lanterns on both banks light up, and the ancient bridges and dwellings are reflected in the water under the lights, like a scroll painting. Each boat can hold 4 people; boatmen row with hand-held oars and occasionally hum Jiangnan folk songs. The whole journey takes about 20 minutes, and the fare is CNY 120 per boat (CNY 30 per person on average). It is recommended to take the boat between 19:00-20:00 to avoid peak crowds.
2. Open-Air Classic Movies
Location: Near the Water Market in the Scenic Area - Recommendation Rating ★★★★
Free screenings of black-and-white classic movies are held every night from 19:00-21:00. The screen is set by the river, and audiences can sit on long wooden benches to watch. With the evening breeze and the sound of the river, the atmosphere is perfect. No reservation is needed; just arrive 10 minutes in advance to get a seat. It is suitable for families or nostalgic tourists.
3. Watching Opera at Ancient Stage
Location: Inside the Scenic Area - Recommendation Rating ★★★★
Free traditional opera performances are held at 10:00, 14:00, and 16:00 every day. The stage is elaborately carved with beams and pillars; audiences can stand under the stage or sit in the surrounding tea seats (you can sit by ordering a cup of tea, CNY 20 per cup) to watch, and experience the traditional opera culture of Jiangnan.
